Lillie Jackson a resident of Hendrix, Oklahoma passed from this life in Denison, Texas on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the age of 75 years 3 months and 4 days. She was born in Lake West, Oklahoma on Wednesday, May 12, 1937 to Thomas Sam and Leona (Bob) Jackson.

Lillie dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was of the Baptist faith. Lillie enjoyed collecting frogs and knitting. She loved all her animals.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by her daughters, Doris Taylor, La Donna Jackson and Betty Jackson; sons, Paul Bertis, Alvie Jackson and Mark Jackson; sister, Mary Hair; grandchildren, Brittney and Courtland Jackson, Rocky Taylor and Haleigh and Gavyn Gallant; great-grandchildren, Rocky Taylor Jr. and Matthew Taylor.

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Leona Jackson; husband, Alvie Jackson; brother, Wilson Bertis.

Family Hour will be from 6-7:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at the Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 20, 2012, at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel with Rev. Olin Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Boswell, Oklahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Miller, Tom Hicks, Alvie Jackson, Rocky Taylor, Courtland Jackson and David Weldon. Honorary pallbearers will be Gavyn Gallant, Rocky Taylor Jr., and Matthew Taylor.
